Before applying

Read the Art/space mission HERE

Thanks for doing so carefully.
>>> IMAGINAIR Art/space’s approach and inspiration is embedded in its mission.

>>> IMAGINAIR Art/space is an artist-led project funded with its own resources generated through collaboration. The concept stems from own and shared experiences with like-minded professionals.

>>> IMAGINAIR Art/space’s approach is midway between that of art and design fairs, residencies and that of a gallery, but at the same time differs from all three.

>>> Applicants are invited to participate out of an understanding of and enthusiasm for this approach.

How to apply

Sign up for the next show via the button below.

>>> We ask you to upload a portfolio and short CV. Links to your website and/or socials are included in your CV. In addition, we ask you to include the specific work you want to participate with.

>>> Duration of the call and deadline see application form.

Selection criteria

>>> IMAGINAIR Art/space selects without regard to candidates’ age, origin, gender and with respect for each person’s unique identity.

>>> In selection, consistency within the applicant’s creative language, previous professional experience and/or  training and technical quality of the work will be considered.

>>> We will also consider whether your work fits within the mission and vision of IMAGINAIR Art/space and its commitment to a balance between artistry and commercialism. In design, this means we are looking for unique pieces or pieces produced only in small editions, in which the hand or inspiration of the creator can be felt, while also having an IMAGINAIR-quality that sparks the imagination. The artworks should be able to be included in an overall scenography as IMAGINAIR Art/space provides for each show.

>>> IMAGINAIR Art/space provides an overall scenography. In this, we look for a balanced ensemble, in which work by the various artists lifts each other up without interfering with each other. It is therefore possible that your work does not currently fit between the work already selected and that the team would like to include your work in a future SHOW. If this is the case, we will let you know in response to your application and kindly invite you to reapply for the next SHOW.

After applying

>>> Selected candidates will be asked to agree to terms and conditions enclosed with the announcement of their selection. Once the withheld candidate agrees by replying with the required information, his/her/x participation is final.

>>> All further practical arrangements will be made.

>>> We will launch the SHOW with all the elements that will contribute to visibility and to strengthening your and each other’s work. Think of a festive opening, publication through our channels, mailing to our contacts, images, the chance to be part of the Art/space and meet people there, advice on sales and permanence with weekly opening hours.
