Katrien Vanderbiest (Brussels – BE) is a multidisciplinary artist, creative maker and director. She is at home in dance and word, in image and scenography. For ten years she worked with young dancers on creating and choreographing contemporary dance – and theatre performances.
Katrien is passionate about bringing creatives together, looking for innovative ideas, researching projects and exploring the art and creative world in which she works and lives.
She holds a master’s degree in dramatic arts and studied photography at LUCA School of Arts Brussels. As an independent student, she followed a programme in Theatre Sciences at the University of Antwerp.
Together with Geoffrey, Katrien forms the basis of IMAGINAIR. As an artistic duo, the interaction between the different media they work with inspires them.
