Roman Sedov

Roman Sedov

Antwerp, Belgium

Roman Sedov (b. 1995, Minsk, BY) is a self-taught multilingual artist from Antwerp. He has always been fascinated by the use of everyday objects in big cities, especially those lying abandoned on the streets. Currently, Roman uses only the ashes of discarded objects, mainly ashes from cigarettes, to bring the aesthetics of this transience onto his palette. By using only ashes, he makes us reflect on the absurdity of life and at the same time see the unexpected beauty of the most banal things. Over the years, he began to create art that explores the profound intersection of life and the overlooked. Inspired by mythological and religious stories of rebirth or resurrection, where ashes symbolize renewal and transformation. Roman’s works symbolize resilience and transformation, inviting viewers to reconsider the beauty and meaning of the seemingly mundane.

Studio Morevi – Ana & Frederik

Studio Morevi – Ana & Frederik

Antwerp, Belgium

Morevi is the creative moniker of the Georgian-Belgian artist duo Ana Naskidashvili and Frederik Poisquet. The studio was founded on a desire to reconnect with slow, deliberate handwork and natural materials.

Central to their practice is the making process, which involves a series of meditative, repetitive gestures. Morevi emphasizes the relationships formed between the material and the creator, the artwork and its audience, and the interactions between the materials themselves. Their method results in minimalist artworks that subtly blend a natural, unrestrained visual language with intentional human intervention, evoking quietude and poetic resonance.

Tom Andries

Tom Andries

Rotselaar, Belgium

Tom Andries (b. Leuven 1969) is a Belgian multidisciplinary designer and contemporary artist. His main body of work consists of monochromes painted in heavily textured black ink. Tom uncovers the essence and hidden beauty of typography, abstracting basic geometric forms from letters. Trained as a typographer and graphic designer, Tom also founded a thriving branding agency called Today, which he is still passionately running.

Tom Andries’ artistic practice consists of series of abstracts painted in black ink directly onto the canvas. With a few strokes of a heavy brush, he covers the surface from edge to edge, creating abstract forms derived from typography. Often working in black on white, he purposefully uses curve-linear and angular compositions to add tension.

Tine Loncin

Tine Loncin

Brussels, Belgium

T_NE LONC_N  °1964, lives and works in Brussels

With many years of expertise as an interior architect and furniture designer, Tine Loncin has honed her skills in conversions and renovations, ranging from small-scale projects to large, comprehensive undertakings for both public and private clients.

_Over time, Tine developed a deep affinity for furniture design. The intricate process of designing and creating a piece of furniture fuels her urge to experiment and her curiosity, driven by the insights gained from failed tests. She embraces the fallibility of the process, the close collaboration in the studio with workers, and the shared quest for a final product. It’s like an eternal pursuit of a final victory that may never come.

_Her goal is to let the object speak for itself. A clear, uncomplicated concept is the common thread in her designs. Tine never shapes a form merely for its beauty; her design pragmatically flows from material use, function, concept.
